By using Customer Support Recording, you agree to these terms:
What you can do:
- Use our service for legitimate customer support purposes
- Create recording links for customers to submit screen recordings
- Download and manage your recordings
What you can't do:
- Upload malicious or illegal content
- Access other users' recordings or data
- Use the service for spam or harassment
Your responsibilities:
- Keep your account credentials secure
- You own your recordings and data
- We can store and process recordings to provide the service
We provide the service "as is" and limit our liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Privacy Policy
Information we collect:
For Regular Users:
- Account info: Name, email, profile picture from Google/Microsoft login
- Recordings: Screen recordings uploaded by customers
- Usage data: Basic usage statistics for service improvement
For Crisp Plugin Users:
- System accounts: Automatically created accounts linked to your Crisp website ID
- Recordings: Screen recordings submitted by your customers through Crisp chat links
- Plugin settings: Notification preferences and plugin configuration
- No personal login data: No Google/Microsoft account information collected
How we use it:
- Provide and maintain the recording service
- Authenticate your account (regular users) or link to your Crisp website (plugin users)
- Store and organize recordings for your team
- Send notifications when new recordings are submitted (if enabled)
- Improve our service
Data security:
- Recordings stored in encrypted cloud storage
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Limited access to authorized personnel only
- Secure UUID-based links that are not guessable
Data sharing:
We don't sell your data. We only share it:
- With your consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- With service providers under strict confidentiality
- Crisp integration: Recording notifications are sent back to your Crisp chat conversations
Your rights:
Regular Users:
- Access, correct, or delete your data
- Export your recordings
- Delete your account anytime through the dashboard
Crisp Plugin Users:
- Request access to recordings associated with your Crisp website
- Request deletion of specific recordings
- Disable the plugin to stop new recording collection
- Note: System accounts cannot be directly accessed as they lack traditional login credentials
Data retention:
- Screen recordings: Automatically deleted after 30 days for all users
- Regular account info: Until you delete your account
- Crisp system accounts: Until plugin is uninstalled or deletion is requested
- Plugin settings: Until plugin is uninstalled
- Usage logs: Up to 12 months
Crisp-specific practices:
- Automatic account creation: Accounts are created automatically when you install the Crisp plugin
- No personal authentication: Crisp users don't need to log in to Grasshopper Capture directly
- Organized by customer: All recordings are automatically organized by customer and date
- Chat integration: Recordings are posted directly to your Crisp conversations
We use session cookies for login (regular users only). No tracking cookies. This service is not for children under 13.
